Ape In Poker always strives for an even playing field. If you ever experience connectivity issues with your device, we have the following policies that will apply should it occur during gameplay

1. Players that are disconnected from the game server during any bets they have committed to the pot shall be retained in the game until their turn is up next. Any player that does not reconnect by that time will be folded and the turn will go to the next player.

In cash games:

If a player was playing at a cash table and got disconnected, the table will wait for him/her for up to 75 seconds to reconnect. If the player logs back on during this time, he/she can simply continue from where he/she left the previous online session, with no lost moves. If the player is unable to reconnect within this time, then he/she will be folded from the ongoing hand and removed from the table. Another player can then be seated at the table instead.

In tournaments:

At a tournament, especially in the later stages, a disconnection could have serious consequences in terms of prize pool etc. Therefore, a player is not removed from a table, but the system will continue playing automatically for him until the player returns back to the game. During this period, the software will take automatic actions on behalf of the player (i.e., post antes and blinds, and check wherever possible), but will fold whenever a bet or a raise has to be called and therefore a decision is needed. When the player reconnects, he can continue from that time. If a player is unable to reconnect, then eventually the player’s stack will dwindle to zero due to blinds and antes, and the player will then exit the tournament.

1. The player must accept the risk of being disconnected. If they are cut off, simply log back in and continue playing as quickly as possible.  Ape In Poker does not accept any risk for disconnection of a player.
2. When the software detects a disconnection, it will make every attempt to reconnect to the server and get the player back into their seat at the table they were seated at before losing their connection the player, however, if there is no internet connection, then there is no possibility that the player would be able to return to their seat..
3. Ape In Poker reserves the right to alter any and all of its corresponding and related policies and any resulting disputes will be resolved by management. All decisions made in this regard by Ape In Poker will be final and binding.
4. If a player who is deemed to be disconnected has the option to check on his turn, our software will automatically carry out this action and the player will be retained in the game.
5. Every player is allocated a bonus time to connect back. If the player disconnects, the server will wait for the player to join back as per the applicable bonus time. If the player does not reconnect or return to the table within this time, the player will be folded automatically. If the player has used up all bonus time, then they must wait for the server to top up the time at intervals decided by Ape In Poker.

Cancellation Policy

1. Due to the immediate nature of business, Ape In Poker does not allow the cancellation of a transaction. Ape In Poker, at its sole discretion, may decide to cancel any tournament without prior notice.
2. In the event of a buy-in tournament, the entire amount of the buy-in and fees paid by the user to participate in the tournament will be refunded fully as long as no payouts/rewards have been awarded.
3. Should a tourney be canceled midway, all refunds will be at the sole discretion of Ape In Poker based on the following factors:

• In the event of payouts being made for a tournament, then the balance amount will be distributed equally to the remaining players.
• In the event that the payouts have yet to be made towards the tournament, then the payouts will be canceled and the entire amount will be refunded to each player.
• The choice of which option to use will be at the sole discretion of Ape In Poker at all times.
